Bio

Joseph Duque is a Filipino-American documentary filmmaker. He grew up in rural Idaho across the street from a potato field. Now, he is based in Chicago, IL. 


He graduated at Brigham Young University with a BA in Media Arts Studies and a minor in Asian Studies. His non-fiction capstone film, Women's Work, documented midwifery practices in the Provo, Utah area.

Films that he edited and directed were officially selectioned by several film festivals including DOC NYC and CAAMFest.
